ABOUT CODY HART FOR government accountability
As a longtime Washingtonian, I have lived or worked in every corner of the 2nd Congressional District since being stationed at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island where I met my wife of twenty years and mother of my three beautiful daughters. After proudly serving and completing my enlistment, I used the GI Bill beginning at Skagit Valley College, to earn a degree as a Civil Engineer and then became licensed as a Professional Engineer who now owns a successful Engineering firm in Skagit County. I truly am living the American dream!
I am blessed to live in the most beautiful place in the world and while I have seen a lot of good changes for our region and country, I have become deeply concerned that many of the problems that effect my family and fellow citizens are not being adequately addressed.
I believe that addressing government corruption, energy independence, affordable housing, the homeless epidemic, environmental mismanagement, inadequate transportation system, and the excessive taxes we all pay need to be a higher priority with better solutions.
I am excited about what is ahead and I am grateful to all those who have been and continue to support me!
